Brochure & Stationery Design and Cheap Leaflet Design & Printing in London
LDA, a London design agency, was founded in 1991 and very rapidly developed a broad client base. Our focus from day one has been to combine high quality graphic design with traditional typesetting skills (and as a digital design agency) – producing work that is not only pleasing to the eye but readable!
A London design agency, our client base consists of various departments within the public sector, livery companies, charities, educational sector (schools, academies, colleges, etc.) and many companies and organisations within the private sector. This varied client base exercises our design skills on a daily basis; exercise we thrive on. Some require cutting edge design, whereas others prefer the more traditional layouts, which best represents their organisation.
Design, being a very subjective skill, will, by its very nature, need to be developed in stages. Our method of developing a design is well practised. Firstly, our designer will discuss with the client the broad outlines of the job. Then, having interpreted the client's wishes, will supply concepts. Sometimes these will be the exact designs the client requires, but sometimes more concepts are required, until eventually a design is agreed. We offer a senior designers for the premium jobs, and junior designers for projects such as cheap leaflet design & printing or brochure & stationery design.
Whether the product is a logo, a leaflet or a brochure, the same route is followed. And, the same designer will stay with the job until it is finished. We consider this very important. Likewise, the client will deal directly with the designer throughout the whole process, and often until the project is printed or published online.
For a new start up or an established organisation, their corporate branding is vitally important. This is their image, their initial contact with existing and potential clients. And so, if it's your existing company logo and branding that you feel needs a revamp, or for your new and exciting business, try us. We have the experience and understanding.
Designing a logo can, in some ways, be more difficult to design than a sixty-four page brochure! A client will have a vague idea of what they want, but this can sometimes be difficult to convey to us. So, very often, we produce as many as twenty designs for the client to choose from. These designs, incidentally, are all within the quoted price.
As mentioned in the first paragraph, design nowadays can be very hit and miss. The purpose of good design, in our opinion, is to convey the message, either electronically or on paper, in a manner that is pleasing to the eye and readable. So often we see examples such as white type printed in small sizes on a yellow background – which can appear to be totally unreadable! It looks great to the designer in his or her chosen program, but when printed it is barely readable. Images are often plucked straight from the internet at low resolution and planted in pages. The image quality can be horrendous. These skills, although basic, are often lacking in design and when followed contribute to a well designed final product.
As well as designing for print, a London graphic design agency, produces designs specifically for electronic publication. Whilst the design process is basically similar to that of printing on paper, it differs in the resolution of images. For printing on paper 300 dpi is required, whereas for designing for electronic media 72 dpi is sufficient. This London creative design agency is focused on producing graphic design that is visually pleasing, legible, and importantly, competitively priced.
