Killer Tomato, Shepherd’s Bush
Imagine this. Sweet potato chunks smeared onto a large warm wrap, topped with spicy Mexican rice, black beans, cabbage, fried onions, feta, sour cream, hot sauce, coriander, lime juice and a deep-fried crispy taquito tube filled with delicious guacamole. From just a small street stall to now an opening restaurant in Shepherd’s Bush, one thing is for sure – Killer Tomato makes killer burritos. Killer Tomato was awarded ‘The Tastiest Startup’ at the Virgin Food Festival in 2014 and featured on the back of TimeOut’s September 2015 issue, as well as many other publications including The Evening Standard and The Metro. Patty & Bun, Shoreditch
“The best burger I have ever had.” Yes, you guessed it, the famous Patty & Bun is finally hitting the bustling streets of Shoreditch. The city’s best burger bar will have counter and bar seating upstairs, as well as an open kitchen and bar downstairs in its Shoreditch chain. From sides such as skin-on rosemary salt chips and thunder thighs with smoked jalapeno butter sauce topped with fresh chilli and lime to their signature burger ‘ari gold’ – a thick patty slathered with ketchup and smoky mayo in a glazed soft brioche bun, you can guarantee your food will have strong and delicious flavours oozing out.
